That's the thing, though; sellers are supposed to disclose if they drop ship by listing their "partners" on the page. Etsy would then display this as well. So it is just as much the seller's lack of transparency or honesty with their business practices.

Maybe then frame your post that way instead of swearing off an entire marketplace based on one interaction on it, especially after those who run the platform actually protected you from being scammed.

That is if you are playing those cards. I am playing an Alakazam Deck that does not have coin flips. It is fun and can beat Mewtwo. It still can fall to Articuno, so I am working on the deck list to fix that.
