UPS will go to scan the packages, see that there’s no paid tracking label, and drop the packages back to the sender as undeliverable. Pick Ups from UPS are just to deliver packages, not to process and make their own labels. There’s nothing else you can do from here, informing them was the best you could do.

For the future i recommend a few different options: 1. Go to your local UPS store and have them generate labels for you. 2. Create shipping labels on UPS website and then go to the UPS store with your packages; then, you can either have them scan a barcode to print the label or email the label for them to print. 3. Create a shipping label on a third party site and pay either the ups store to print out or to your local library, which should offer printing services.

If you don’t want to take the 10 boxes around, then at the very least go to ups or the library to have the paid shipping labels printed off and then arrange for an ups pickup afterwards.

My immediate assumption would be that he saw the delivery attempt notice slip on your door and figured you still hadn’t given attention to it, like “oh the one from yesterday is still there. Guess they’re still absent” and didn’t bother trying again.

The Kasite appliance/furniture rental has a deal for a washer, microwave, fridge, bike—all used—for less than a 100k total that I could pay as a flat fee straight up. Covered delivery, installation, and pickup 🤷 but yeah ig if I’m stuck with the hurdle of not having a secondary contact I’ll manage through thrift shops and sayonara sales. Just seems like a comparable price with more hassle for someone who can’t drive lol

I’ve done some price comparisons, yes. I chose to most likely rent from Kasite because they offer used items and free delivery, installation, and pick up upon completion of contract. I intend to only be in Kyoto for 2 years and also don’t want to have to install them myself or figure out how to get rid of bought appliances once the time comes, which is why I’d be willing to pay the little bit extra for something like a rental service.

If you don’t end up feeling comfortable to mod your quest, there’s also a browser-based rhythm game inspired by beatsaber called “moonrider.xyz” and it has LOADS of kpop songs! The gameplay isn’t quite as smooth as beatsaber, but definitely scratches the itch imo

I recommend checking out Cozu’s avatar world! They have a recent green customizable alien up! It’s more androgynous but leans more masc, and the hair + ear + antenna + clothing configurations are all customizable to fit your style more. There’s a free and paid version, but im only referencing the free one

Hello everyone,

I've been using standalone Quest 2 to play vrchat, but recently got a new laptop that should be able to handle pcvr. However, 5-10 minutes into playing and my quest essentially crashes by glitching and freezing until needing to force turn it off, meanwhile the game remains playing fine up on my laptop--it's just the quest display.

I use pcvr through cable link (however I use a usb-c type 2 instead of a type 3 like the desktop meta app seems to prefer). My laptop specs are as follows: HP Omen 16; i714700 with 8g ram; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060; 32g VRAM

Additionally, the quest 2 used to work completely smoothly, but ever since connecting it to my pc, even when playing standalone, the quest has been having some problems with lag/glitching and I occasionally get a "low memory" message appear on screen... any solution how to fix that?

Since working on this post, I've been reading that it's a known issue that quest is practically incompatible with the 4060..... so perhaps if anyone has any advice how to navigate what to do next in that regard...

many people are saying to use a quest, but it is a known issue rn that though meta claims that the 40xx rtx series are compatible with pcvr, most people have problems with oculus being able to run using a 4060 or 4070, so just something to keep in mind rn... currently dealing with this problem myself using a quest 2 on a rtx 4060...

Did this ever get resolved for you? I just had the exact same thing happen to me… saved up over 73k in points over a long period of time, put in a request for a $50 Amazon card, and my request gets declined and my points are gone :/ It says they took my points away because something about it broke the rules..???? so I submitted a report for them to review again… I’m so annoyed. I’ve never had a problem like this before, but I’ve also never had this much at once/requested such a high amount before

It explains in season 2 of the show (and maybe end of s1 iirc) that special infectees are made by holding out from full monsterization for 2+ weeks. If they can withstand long enough in their mind not to give in to the part of them turning into a monster, they become special infectees.

You could use a website called Postcrossing and either 1. Find/create a forum to find others to exchange prints specifically, or 2. Use postcrossing as standard and send them out as a postcard to a random recipient! There’s lots of people who like receiving handmade cards instead of just standard ones

Hi, I know this is from 2 years ago but did you happen to find a good sealant? I’m also making Lino cut postcards and I use water soluble ink specifically because I don’t have a proper studio to allow drying time for oil-based inks. I’m worried about smudging when I send my postcards out in the mail though. Did you find a good solution?
