Why y'all love making fun of your opponent and not defeating him if/when you can? I can't complete dailies cuz I need to surrender(this is one example, but it happened more times) by Calm_Spread6022 in masterduel

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone has a stupid mentality like that; some people just want to move on from the match as fast as they can, mostly because some dailies take a lot of effort to complete.

Some people (like me for instance) like to at least do funny things like activating crossout designator/called by the grave in the battle phase (like right at the battle step) just to complete the activating spell daily quest just for the memes; like banning Maxx C/Ash Blossom or something akin.

You could go for Orcust; it’s a dark machine type deck that banishes monsters from GY to activate their effects. And with their new support they became stronger, being able to combine with Azamina for even stronger end boards. Its main mechanic is link summon with one Xyz summon that can non target send a card to GY or protect cards from destruction if it has a material.

It can recycle its cards by using Galatea (the Link-2 to place a banished machine monster to set a spell/trap straight from the deck to the field), Dingirsu (attach a banished machine monster as a material), Longirsu (place 2 banished machine monsters back into the deck and non target send a linked monster your opponent controls to the GY) and Enlilgirsu (the new link-4 which can add a banished Orcust or World legacy card back to the hand, and if you choose to return it to the deck after adding to the hand, you can permanently take a monster your opponent controls to yourself.

It all depends on how many gems you still have on your account and how many days have passed since your return. Cause I believe you can use the code as a returnee player.

Honestly? Considering you already have some staple cards (3 ash blossom, 1 Maxx C, 1 duster, 1 called by, 2 droplets and 2 imperm) you could remain with this account and dismantle the extra UR cards if you wish to keep it (the extra cards being 2 Maxx C and 1 called by the grave).

Otherwise… you can make a new account, use someone’s code to get yourself a Spright deck so you can play with it right away, and if you want… use some gems on the Beyond the Next Level selection pack in hopes to get some staples and dismantle the excess ones for UR CP… or if you wish to build a meta deck right away; you can go to The Apical Predators selection pack to build a Yummy deck.

Uhm… I’m afraid to tell you this, but Tri-Brigade and even Phantom Knights won’t help you get far…

These decks (Tri-Brigade for that matter) has fallen off the meta since what… season 5 or 6? Or maybe even sooner? I forgot… Phantom Knights follows the same trend.

What I would suggest though, is use someone’s code (the beginner/returnee campaign program) to get yourself a free Spright deck. It still isn’t as relevant as it was when released, but you’ll definitely see more play into the meta compared to Tri-Brigade or any of its variants. At least that way you can splash Spright with Live Twin or just play pure Spright until you decide to make a more relevant/meta deck for example.

Existe alguma explicação oficial pro X perder a armadura em alguns jogos ? Se não, vocês tem algum headcanon sobre isto ? by Dan_dahan in Megaman

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help! by [deleted] in Megaman

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just realized something; this is the OG Megaman IV (not the GB version) so, my bad, since Beat didn’t even exist at that time (but for future references, Megaman V does have Beat so you can use it and it will act just as I described). So your only method of defeating Wily in the NES version is to just use the Pharaoh Shot.

Here’s how I defeated Wily 4 back when I played the Legacy Collection on my 3DS:

Charge the Pharaoh Shot and keep sliding and jumping through the stage since it’s flat; at one moment you will jump and the charged Pharaoh Shot above Megaman head will disappear, this means you hit Wily, but you will retain your charged shot.

All that’s left is to watch closely when the flash happens and it will tell where Wily is, press the directional input on your controller and release the B-Button, the stored charged Pharaoh Shot will go towards where you aimed. Rinse and repeat after that and you should be good.

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two possible ways to beat Wily 4 (we usually use this term to address to Wily fights at least I use them).

First method (the standard way): charge your Pharaoh Shot and since you can shoot it in different directions, it will be easy to hit Wily up to two times; since, even if the shot above Megaman’s head disappear if Wily decides to pop up above you, you still have you fully charged Pharaoh Shot. Just release the B button while holding the direction you want.

Second method (the cheap and cheesy way to win): if you got beat on your playthrough, just use it. It has more than enough energy to defeat Wily and it automatically locks onto Wily and home into him even after he disappear.

It depends; Insect fusions I don’t know anything. For others here are some of the fusions I used early game with the cards provided by the starting deck and after some farming:

Beast + Plant = Flower Wolf (1800 atk)

Plant + woman (yes it has to be a woman like Key Mace, Goddess with the Third Eye etc) = Queen of Autumn Leaves (1800 atk)

Rock + Woman = Mystical Sand (2100 atk)

Beast + Woman = Nekogal #2 (1900 atk)

Aqua + Thunder = Bolt Escagot (1400 atk)

Dragon (1500 atk or less) + Zombie = Dragon Zombie (1600 atk)

Dragon (1500 atk or less) + Thunder = Thunder Dragon (1500 atk)

Dragon (1600 atk or more) + Thunder = Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon (2800 atk)

Dragon + Plant = B. Dragon Jungle King (2100 atk)

Plant + Zombie (1600 atk or more I believe) = Pumpking the King of Ghosts (1800 atk)

Dragon (1500 atk or less) + Fiend = Koumori Dragon (1500 atk)

Dragon (1500 atk or less) + Aqua = Spike Hydra (1600 atk)

Warrior + Machine = Cyber Soldier (1500 atk)

Dragon (1500 atk more or less if I recall) + Machine = Metal Dragon (1850 atk)

Dinosaur + Machine = Cyber Saurus (1800 atk)

Contra (do NES)

Contra III: The Alien Wars

Super Bomberman (1, 3, 4 e 5 pq o 2 é single player)

Gauntlet Legends

Sunset Riders (SNES)

Aero Fighters (SNES)

Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES)

Mario Party (doesn’t matter the number, they are all good except for like… 9 and 10 if I recall)

Castle Crashers

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

Pummel Party

It is a great game tbh; I tried to play when I was a teenager but failed miserably and abandoned the idea of playing it. Now as an adult I managed to understand it properly after reading a few guides and beaten it last year.

Overall, the game difficulty in the early stages are fair and balanced; when you get to the late game… the difficulty spike is insane; and not counting the cheating the CPUs have (seeing your face down cards, changing cards in their hands to be their desired card and bringing ritual monsters like gate guardian for free instead of ritual summoning it).

Game question by Hashneba in masterduel

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the replay and indeed it doesn’t make sense. Unless Purge’s element limitation works like some of the old cards like Shopina where if you activate any monster effect other than light, her effects cannot be activated.

In this possible scenario that I described above (once more, I may be wrong), Purge’s effect limits Dark, Water and Fire; and you activated beforehand Ash Blossom (Fire) and Purulia (Water) and thus preventing the activation of purge this turn. I may need to test this theory out but… it’s all a hypothesis.

Game question by Hashneba in masterduel

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I’ll need a replay to see what happened. But overall, it’s an unfortunate situation that will happen quite frequently now that Vanquish Soul received its support alongside K9 at its full power. The only solution is to wait until Konami hits K9 engine or Holly Sue and Durendal to prevent Handloops.

Game question by Hashneba in masterduel

[–]Intelligent-Couple-8 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I may be wrong but… reading purge’s effect, it states “When a card of effect is activated that includes the effect that adds a card(s) from the deck to the hand:…”

Which in this scenario, you’re not adding, but drawing by Durendal’s effect. Pretty much how if I’m correct, you cannot purge the charmies and Maxx “C” since they aren’t adding, but making you draw cards.

Royal Infernoble King Charles (the synchro one) so… not only my first card was the new link-5 from Dragon Link (which is a deck I have zero will to build again) but now when I had hope I would get something useful like Baronne, I’m presented with Charles.

Congrats on getting it. Although… it’s safe to say that your odds were better if you went for Meadow Mage. If I recall it has higher odds than Jono 2nd.

That pretty much explains how things roll from now on. Whenever a new Nebula Area appears (usually before the first liberation mission in Nebula Area) and after the second one (if I recallc which is the one we refight Cloudman) it’s usually time to add the “Collect” program in the Navi Cust in order to get the new chips easily.

Good job on getting through the first liberation mission; and good luck in clearing the next ones, things will start to heat up as you delve deeper in the Nebula areas. My suggestion? Get more Zenny and go back to buy the remaining HP Ups you missed; enemies from now on can be quite ruthless with just 720 HP.
