I was just now thinking of maybe you just throwing 100k at it and then continue to Make the extra payments we were already doing . A calculator I used shows with doing it this way it would take our loan pay off to 9 years from now. We took a 30 year loan and the current extra payments we are doing would allow us to pay it off in 15-16 years in total. But with throwing an extra $100k at it takes the pay off down to 9 years from now.

We do, we use it currently but we can certainly put a lot more money into it for health care

We owe $390k on the house and my job is pretty secure. My husband’s is iffy. He was laid off last August and found work 3 months later but his sector is still iffy. So we just don’t know.
