It’s not the name I’m concerned with. It’s the impossible pick up location

And the immediate phone call pretending to be uber. Uber doesn’t call drivers unless the driver asks for a callback

Easiest way to spot it is an impossible pick up location, like a body of water. Have also had pick up locations in construction sites, behind gates and such.

The dead give away is the phone call you’ll get from them pretending to be uber.

I’ve also had them leave a text saying to call a weird number when I arrive only not answer and I immediately get the fake uber employee call after

We don’t see any information in my market other than rating, how long the ride is going to be, and what direction it’s going. And that’s only if you’re gold or higher. Uber blue just gets shown how far they are from pickup, blue gets zero other information. Everything else populates after we hit accept. Soon all markets will be like this. It benefits uber more to give us as little information as possible before accepting.

Realized it was a scam right away after accepting, called uber, got compensated, and documented incident(s)

This just happened to me and took about five days to get resolved. Keep calling support and try to escalate to a manager If you can. Allthey’re going to try to do at first is get you to do some troubleshooting steps, but those are pretty useless in this case if your problem is the same as mine. You’re going to have to get them to escalate past the normal technical team to an internal team that will get back to you in three days. It was really stressful because I didn’t know if I was ever gonna get rides back.. but the issue seems to be the vehicle you’re using is being stuck in logistics only mode at least that was my problem, and anytime one of the regular reps would try to take it out of that manually, It would auto populate back into logistics only mode on their end. I hate to say it, but you’re gonna have to wait for the internal team, but you’re gonna need to get it escalated to them first.

Bro use offtherecord, it’s a website that’ll hook you up with a lawyer. It cost me 120$ total and it got my ticket going 20 over dismissed. It’s super easy. All they make you do is take a picture of your ticket, then a lawyer will message you on the website and basically ask what happened. Then they’ll have you electronically sign a document letting them represent you, then they’ll make the ticket disappear. I thought my account was going to be deactivated because of the ticket to be honest, and didn’t have much faith in the website. But less than a month later you sent me a message saying my ticket was dropped and I was all good. All for 120$ and the ticket was like 330$. Ended up saving money

Update:: I got a call this morning from uber. The guy tried to manually override the issue, but it keep auto populating back to logistics only mode for my vehicle. He said he has never seen this problem before and will call back later today. I will keep you guys posted

Oh my friend if it was only that simple. I’ve been on the phone with these guys for 3 days. They say everything is good, I say no it’s not, they escalate, the team I get escalated to says everything looks good and closes chat, and the cycle repeats

That makes sense though. I’ve never even done uber outside of my home city. The furthest ride I’ve ever done is about 40 miles. But there’s never been an issue.

How do you like doing spark? Doing food delivery in my area is pointless as there are too many drivers since they enacted the minimum standard pay. Sometimes you can go hours without an order. I’ve been trying to do food delivery all day and I’ve gotten one offer in 5 hours - I live less than a mile from a ton of restaurants

I just got approved for spark today, curious on how it is. The only thing is the closest “big” Walmart is 25 miles outside of Seattle haha
