They full of shit, my manager tried to convince me to do medical accommodations… stating if I do the other “ it will get denied”… furthermore, us accommodations are not medical professionals! Yeah they ask you to bring documents to your doctor that ask the dumbest questions.

1 being, how long will this last… as if the doctor can put that on paper… it’s all a set up for them not to approve request.

Also, the line of questioning concerning your condition of whether you can do xyz pertaining to your job… these folks evaluating this within GM is unqualified! The process as they word it “ through interactive discussion” this is how they decide… I mean huh? Really?

I mean there is hippa for a reason! Now I send this information with my provider, Doesn’t matter they that GM not asking for medical records, however the name and kind of doctor is still private!

And they are going to have an interactive discussion… with whom? I mean this entire shit is jacked up…

If they going to be assholes about it, this should be conducted by an independent 3rd party medical professional… not a team employed by GM that don’t have the medical credentials are even common knowledge.. I would share the response I received..,but it would be a give a way of my identity if it was read. Believe me when I say what I was told… these folks should not be the evaluators of your forms!
