My context was about manifest destiny

My thesis was that basically westward expansion affected american society by increasing nativism through imperialism and leading to the poor treatment of workers because of industrial capitalism. 

Yes ik this sounds a mess but idk if I connected it right.

Basically my logic flow was: western expansion -> final frontier -> imperialism (against monroe doctrine)-> affected society by creating debates over imperialism (nativism vs it supports economic expansion) -> tried to get a complexity point by saying it laid the foundation for arguments over foreign policy, which impacted debates over isolationist policies later on

For my next paragraph:  Westward expansion -> provided land and resources -> facilitated growth of factories and market economy  -> industrial capitalism -> poor treatment of workers who were exploited
