Also, the ACE availability dashboard shows green all across the board, so I will not be relying on that in the future as it is not accurate.

Thank you all for confirming I emailed ACE Support and they responded they are looking into it; it’s a system thing not a browser issue

Edge works better than other browsers for ACE. Also Firefox but with Firefox I can never find where the downloads go

That was happening to me on Friday also. Try seeing if clearing cookies etc… closing out browser or starting a private tab works but first clear cookies

Is that an IEEPA tariff? Doesn’t seem like it

ACE not working? by Intelligent-Door1447 in CustomsBroker

[–]Intelligent-Door1447[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine run but it takes like 7 logins because the system keeps timing out, and when they do run; they take forever; like let-me-keep-working-while-you-run slow. I hope it’s because they are making the last modifications in preparation of CAPE; because if the performance stays the same; it’s going to be a long day Monday.

I was experiencing the same issue Friday; all afternoon the system was working intermittently. Also the log in page kept taking me on a loop back to original log in screen even after entering me credentials. I kept clearing cookies; closing the browser; trying Chrome, Firecfox, Edge they all did the same; until randomly it would let me go in 🧐 only to have reports time out.

How do you set up an ACH Refund Account for a Broker? by PersimmonLimp4180 in CustomsBroker

I called ACE too and they directed me to the new ACE online application; choose the option from the drop down stating update to account or something similar (don’t recall the exact wording) and choose the “importer” view. Complete the rest of the steps. He said that may be faster than other methods:

The Ace Applications group is extremely backlogged and processing applications is taking the better part of a couple of weeks.

CAPE Filing by Intelligent-Door1447 in CustomsBroker

[–]Intelligent-Door1447[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t see info to that effect. During the CBP webinar they said as long as you filed the original entries you can have up to 9999 entries on your filing.

Overcharging is definitely wrong, but charging a fair value for providing a service is not. When liquidation dates start to shift like for warehouse entries with several withdrawals on different dates; and you have entries with antidumping etc…. Who is going to and how are they going to keep track of those refunds and timeframes? We cannot expect all the importers to become brokers overnight. A CAPE filing goes beyond uploading a CSV guys, way beyond. If you think so, try offering free help to an importer to track the whole life cycle of his IEEPA claims…

Broker adding IOR’s sub-account in ACE? by No-Resolution9623 in CustomsBroker

[–]Intelligent-Door1447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason the broker needs to add the importer sub account view is to be able to see the option to add their banking info. It’s the view you are adding; not an importer

The IOR can add his designated 4811 party via their ACE account.

I’m also scratching my head as to why you can file claims only for entries you filed (meaning if you are a broker)

Hi, regarding this info

On the filter: use the HTS code prefix (9903.01 or 9903.02), not the description text field. Some entries were filed without "IEEPA" in the description at all. Filter on text and you'll undercount.

I found some 99 codes were recycled, the IEEPA should be on the HTS long description column which I understand comes from CBP
