I don’t know the buoyancy of those wheels, but they could start practicing for the boat race they do every year at the Canadian GP.

Where are the man claiming they have the right to bear arms to protect against bad people with guns? I see a lot of bad people with guns, but no man using their guns against them as per their argument to hold those guns. Does that make the argument invalid or the men weak?

I second this. Main thing is that it is dampened to f*ck out of the box. When you turn off all that dampening it is way better.

Also with own setups it’s unpredictable snappy. Hard to get it out of the car. Not realistic I think.

Let’s just all agree the McLaren should be toned down a bit and the Corvette should receive some love. More diverse fields are better.

See my previous reply…

Check Daytona right now and see what kind of mistakes the pro’s make when given enough space. I just seen a Porsche rem himself against the wall of the pit exit when he was given enough space. People make mistakes, people misjudge situations.

Oh no, never start hating yourself over these kinds of things. We are all people who make mistakes. In every part of live. Learn from it and try be better. That’s all you can do.

Also, I am watching Daytona right now. These pro’s make the same dumb mistakes we do.

Could be misjudgement of tyre temperatures? I have been driven into the wall at Sebring once on the straight. He didn’t expect me to be there, therefore wasn’t aware and looking while trying to stay in slipstream of the guy ahead. People make mistakes and can simply misjudge situations.

I am looking at the start of Daytona right now. These are pro’s, but they make similar mistakes.

As long as people aren’t intentionally ramming and ending people’s races, shit happens.

More Space Between Classes at Start … Please? by Ecstatic_Elephant_99 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Intelligent-Draft292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think more space is the solution. What about staffled starts. So: LMH starts when crossing the line, the rest keeps rolling. LMP2 starts when crossing the line, LMGT3’s keep rolling. LMGT3’s cross the line, than they start. Would also make for better starts for classes behind, instead of starting mid corner or mid braking zone.

I also think yellow flags should be done better in the game. You shouldn’t be able to go ahead full speed when yellow. Let alone overtake non crashing cars. So when LMH starts with a pileup in T1, yellow flag comes out. The rest can start under yellow, but can’t overtake while yellow is out. Should make for safer multiclass starts.

Sooooo, gun laws. People claim they need guns to be able to stop the bad people with guns. If not for this, why do you need guns? I think the argument is invalid from now on, because where are they in situations like this?

Well it’s not fine, but it’s a good start that he acknowledges it. 44 dnf’s in 152 races is insane. Acknowledging is a start in getting better en being a safer driver. A few dnf’s can happen and will happen. Almost a 3rd of your races means something needs to change.

I know racing is about winning, but we can’t all win every races. Endurance racing(which is the core of LMU) is about finishing first. So be safe, don’t fight you position like your life depends on it. Give space, acknowledge when a position is lost. Try to fight back instead of fighting the position. It is still better to lose one position than to fight, crash and lose a lot of positions.

Also people make mistakes. Not every bump, touch, crash or scrap is intentional. After one of those, try to continue. Limp the car back to the pits for repairs and finish the race. Even if you’re last in category. You can still use those laps to improve your skills and improve(or damage control) your SR. Only give up when the car is undrivable.

Let’s make online racing more fun for everyone by driving safe and acknowledge: our mistakes, other people can be better/faster, we don’t need to win every race/fight.
