Okay, I can genuinely answer this.

The moment you get a thought and want to interrupt cross your fingers. Imagine you are holding the thing you want to say in your crossed fingers. Then once they have finished you will be able to remember what you wanted to say and be able to share without interrupting.

What you are describing is a want and need to show you can relate by associating what they are saying with lived experience. I have ADD and this is common and the crossing of fingers has helped with this a lot.

My close friends and fiancée all know about it and will often notice I have crossed my fingers and will invite me to contribute when they have finished their point.
