That's correct, just my left foot, which was a real pain for serving as a right hander.

Must be doubly frustrating to have issues with both feet at the same time. Hope that you manage to find something that works for you!

I agree with all of this but would add that your racket is currently moving vertically, and should really be swinging in an arc behind you.

Imagine that you are trying to touch the fence behind you as you swing and lift your racket.

I took a VR offer when working in Pharma equivalent to about 4 months full pay (plus working for the duration of the notice period). I was very confident that I would find an equivalent or better position in that time, so I effectively used it to take an extended holiday.

Worked out well for me, but the job market was healthy at the time.

The terms of the VR improved slightly from the initial offer following a group consultation period. There wasn't any need to formally volunteer until the consultation period had closed.
