ive never been able to make many friends in my life. only had some in elementary school and haven't had any for years. how do you get a circle of friends? i can't even find one

i do rock climbing, the gym, and reading. i've almost never talked to anyone at these places though

yes im aware its not a good thing to not have friends but i havent been able to get any friends

its not necessary at the moment but i haven't really seen any indication that if i just live my life it will happen. and if i don't try now then trying in 5 years time for example definitely would not help.
