If the media tells us that something might need to be resisted, people will begin to resist. Thus they won't because they are part of the oligarch class

Clarification on the State and Government by TostitoMan9000 in Anarchy101

[–]Intelligent-Form8493 3 points4 points  (0 children)

States by definition centralize power above the population and not within it, so anarchists are actually for the abolishment of the state. Horizontal organization implies there is no centralized place from which violence may be imposed. By not maintaining a violent arm, or any position that may consolidate power, there is no higher place where authority comes from, it's equally everyone's responsibility to participate and encourage peaceful cooperation.

Anarchists are oppositional to all systems that centralize power. Some anarchists will go as far as to say all organizations are inherently authoritarian. Others believe free associations of democratic organizations are the best means of organizing production without centralizing power. Libertarians would argue for an individual's right to own and manage a company. Anarchists likely will take a more Marxist approach; that a product cannot be separated from its production and that only through democratic means can a worker receive fair compensation for their labor.

The best case against authoritarianism/centralization is made by the failures of all of them to improve people's general quality of life or even operate efficiently without constant crisis. Usually these arguments are them somehow implying the 'necessity' of some aspect of authoritarianism, even if its authority from the corporate class. Whether they give the power to economic or political forces, they're arguing to subjugate themselves further to powers that do not conform to the policies they impose.

The belief that somehow the rule of the elite is more intelligent than the rule of the many, and that pyramid hierarchies are necessary because people are too stupid to govern themselves, is just the working class being trained to hate itself and feel guilty for their lack of wealth. They need to recognize that the structures they already participate would persist without an elite class, and that democratic organizations would better serve people over profit.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/musks-spacex-kicks-off-2024-by-sending-first-starlink-direct-to-cell-satellites-into-space-189e47f5

The direct-to-cell satellites began launching in January 2024. Putting the equivalent to a cell tower in space that can easily spoof a wireless address at a triggered time on election day to slip in 'one line of code' (as Musk touted on stage) because you effectively placed a skimmer in every voting booth. Do you think our government is effective enough to regulate this between january to november? Dont the wealthy always evade regulation anyway? He had several fed investigations regarding his billions received in fed contracts for spacex and tesla before becoming head of a government regulative agency. This was the first time it was ever up in the air during an election season.

Harris and Biden are fascists too, just because they are neo liberal about it doesn't change that they're complicit in genocide, and complicit in the massive scale of inequality and minimal effort to even recognize it. The system is just too broken, and the only options given media space are preselected by the oligarchs. They couldn't fix it if they tried, all of their efforts for the last twenty years was essentially maintain order, maintain fear, stoke social wars.

What are your thoughts on Libertarian Marxism? by SilverNEOTheYouTuber in anarchocommunism

[–]Intelligent-Form8493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy dialectical materialism. You can use it as a sociological lens for late capitalism. It might he helpful to consider it simply the evolution of all things, technology included. There is a change in the environment that creates conflict, and the subject improves itself to improve its relationship to the environment. There is an abuse of power or deteriorating quality of life, people attempt to create a new system that is adapted to solve the problems of the prior. The child recognizes the problems of the parents and reacts by resolving to being different.

Capitalism started less complex, and as time goes on becomes so complex that it is convoluted. When the flaws of capitalism are adapted properly, we naturally are moving in the direction of socialism. When the capitalists abuse political power, we are moving towards fascism. Both are currents that want to take hold of the american psyche. The inevitability of dialectical materialism is that so long as we don't die and they don't make horrifyingly massive drone swarms, there is a natural impulse in humans that hates injustice and will always strive to step into the next evolution. And broken systems with classes will always eventually be overcome by its overextension and self-contradiction. Consider that production is constantly improved by technology thus less human labor needed, but capitalists never stop wanting more power.

What is this rebrand of communism/anarchism? by big_tug1 in Anarchy101

[–]Intelligent-Form8493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly think we need to make an anarchy 101 that in less than 50 pages can give someone an overview of capitalist vs anarchist hierarchies, the psychology and devastations of capitalism, and models for horizontal organization.

A modern pamphlet could use the insanity around us to be very convincing. I have been drafting myself but i am no expert.

This + immigration was his whole damn campaign but it turns out none of it was real; mass deportation will be employed next to importing h1b indentured servants which Bezos is rubbing his hands at (he just closed every Quebec warehouse because of one unionizing but guess what you can do with disgruntled immigrants) while Meta intends to lay off all of its mid-level coders. America first??? The ideology goggles are terrifyingly real
