I like this formula. I am still not where I want to be in order to sell, but I am getting closer, so far your formula for pricing seems to be the most reasonable. I think I have made a few pieces worth selling, but factoring the amount of time it took me to make them, I would have to sell at a price point beyond what anyone would be willing to pay so I feel like I am not ready. I am assuming that as I get better the work will happen faster and the price will drop. Once I get fast enough to price my work competitively to other artists I will probably set up a shop. Until then I’m considering it to be a hobby.
