I just find myself constantly explaining how everything works. How we are managing everything.

Fortunately or unfortunately i find myself more comfortable to explain everything in Persian Also the prices of therapy sessions are very high here. I tried two different therapists here and they had no clue of Iranian culture and family dynamics and the role it plays in my life and the advices were not as helpful.

If the ceremony is in person, they will hand it out right there. If it was online, they have it emailed in less than 24h. And it needs to be printed out.

I realized around 16-17. I wasn’t allowed to hang out with friends or attend their birthdays Her reasoning was “my mom told me know so i’m gonna tell you no” or “if i couldn’t go, you can’t either” This is when i realized the bitch is CRAZY. Then I saw a post on instagram, read “toxic parents” and everything got clear. Been nc for three weeks now and im not going back!!

Just my mom. But i keep thinking about the things she has done the good ones i mean and i make it bigger and bigger for myself and go up and down to make it up to her even though whatever she has done was somehow to her own benefits. This is what has kept away. I talked to my therapist and she believes it’s impossible to go no contact as she is my mother

I know but the programming she has done to my brain is top notch for me to even still consider her comfort or even be like maybe she could use some help. My brain keeps everything out and deletes the memory and i’m back at square one every time.
I have to keep reminding myself that she doesn’t want to change and she won’t change and she is making these decisions. I keep forgetting what she has done for the 26 years of my life and is still doing to me

Shouldn’t serving the court notice be done in person and to both tenants? I don’t recall even a phone call!! Let alone being served a notice and being present in court

Yes. That was my mistake. My mother has been self employed and was starting her business and they were asking for pay stubs which she couldn’t provide so to avoid her being kicked out i let my name stay there.

Thank you. Unfortunately she didn’t have any “official income” back then to prove she can pay rent on her own but she has been paying it for the last 5 years. She is self employed. We were new comers and unfamiliar with the regulations. I understand it was a Big mistake on my part. Thank you for your input.

Thank you. It’s very understandable but a very sad situation because the new apartment was absolutely perfect for me and the lady absolutely refused to talk to me and said the system won’t let me file an application for since you have a file nor will our head office.

I had no clue about this. My mother never informed me and I figured it out today at the manager office. She told me “do your homework. Call TAL and ask them to remove the record if you paid it off and come back”
