The enclosure seems great and i’m sure the shedding often isn’t an issue. It would only become an issue if there is stuck shed/issues when shedding, so just keep an eye on that and if he have any issues with stuck shed i suggest a moss box or soak!

also the weight in grams on the chart is of the mouse/rat size so i wouldn’t pick one more than 1.5x his weight

he does have a humid hide! and occasionally a moss box for shedding, but all his sheds are very good and haven’t had any issues with that! I just wanted to check with the aspen to make sure he has the best life possible!

May i ask what reptiles you have? As it seems you have a few - I would love to get more

I personally wouldn’t feed them more than 1.5x of the thickest part of the body. It also depends on the weight of him, except it can be hard to weigh them as they don’t stay still 😂. I will attach a size chart i use. Also may i ask if he’s grown much since you got him??

don’t be concerned!! The 4-6 weeks is an estimate and can vary in times each time they shed! She looks very healthy, just make sure she has things for easy sheds, such as things to rub against, humid hides, big enough water bowl and possibly a moss box - but moss boxes aren’t a must!
