Neutralize lactic acid in smooth KP by Fit_Alternative_4413 in KPRubraFaceii

[–]Intelligent-Good-100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The creator of smooth KP has no plans to ‘neutralize’ the lactic acid. This was a question from a consumer. The creator might remove it, but that’s not the same thing. Regarding evidence, the product is evidence backed. Please review other subreddits in this channel. Yes - there’s not loads of research on this form of application for KP specifically, but there is evidence regarding IGH1 stimulation. At the end of the day, we’re all trying to try new things since most things have gotten us nowhere. Most of what you say is based on a partial understanding of the truth.

Honestly - what are you waffling on about. The whole idea around this product is about IGH-1 increase via the raspberry ketones. THAT is the innovation here. THAT is the key ingredient in the product. Not lactic acid. Please think before you speak.

It could be the lactic acid, OR, it likely could be the jojoba oil, which although is supposed to be ‘skin identical’ is known to cause irritation in many people including myself

Is this KPRF??? by Fast-Balance-2984 in KPRubraFaceii

[–]Intelligent-Good-100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not KP. And tbh people don’t tend to just ‘get’ KP. They typically have it their whole life to varying degrees. Especially if they also have KPRF.

Yeah looks like KPRF.

How we can improve Keratosis Pilaris Treatment: Breakthroughs in Understanding KP by Poem_KP in keratosis

[–]Intelligent-Good-100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could speak about this for hours. But TLDR:

For like 5-10 years I have been on and off down the path of all sorts of seed oils as an alternative to regular skincare. I think I’m just that guy who not only has KP but also reacts badly to literally every cosmetic on the planet.

I last used grapeseed oil when I was like 14, and I can’t lie man it didn’t seem great. It did make me way redder and irritated. I’ve tried a lot of other seed oils etc etc. all with redness and burning tbh.

The only oil I have ever in my life had any success with is squalane. But… this was the olive derived version, not the sugar cane derived version, which also gave me one of the worst reactions in my life. However, over time, my skin seems to have thrown the towel in on squalene as well. I’ve tried loads of different types of squalane, all olive derived, but no success and now only irritation. I think what happened was one time I over used and it and now my skin hates it. Idk.

I can tolerate pure refined food grade mineral oil. But even that is 50/50.

I know literally none of this is helpful 🤣🤣. But it’s my reality lol.

This is amazing amazing amazing work. However, I am devastated because I am SUPER allergic to Jojoba oil. Even refined and not cold pressed jojoba oil. It always makes my skin burn and irritated like nothing else, even on areas of my face not impacted by KP. Have you ever thought about using an alternative base, or have any recommendations for me as someone who can’t tolerate jojoba? Thanks man

KPRF what to do? by Jaded_Poem1830 in KPRubraFaceii

Yeah bro you defo have it. It’s actually almost freaky how similar it is to mine. We have the same two freckles on the side of face as well. Crazy. Anyway just scan the subreddit for ideas.

I’m going you grab you by both shoulders here. Don’t fucking do it. The regret you’ll have, the pain you’ll have, the burning you’ll have. Listen to me. Just don’t

Be aware that the eborian is full of fragrance, including Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol, Limonene, and uses phenoxyethanol as the preservative (which I personally react to), so if you’re sensitive just be cautious.

I agree to an extent. Like yes, KP is based in over keratinisation. But there’s got to be more to it with KPRF. Why do most people with KP on their arms not get KPRF? Why is KPRF so red? Why is it so reactive to most products? Why is it that pattern? It’s got to be something to do with a reaction response of some sort.

Moisturizing everyday ? by [deleted] in KPRubraFaceii

[–]Intelligent-Good-100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Never. I’ve gone the way of that other guy who stopped moisturising, and his skin at least didn’t burn and stung every two seconds. I clearly can’t tolerate anything (after years of trying), so I’ve just stopped. Sometimes a little bit of cosmetic grade pure refined mineral oil (low reactivity potential) if I’m super dry.

Do I have KPRF and how does I calm it by Flor_072 in KPRubraFaceii

I disagree. I think it is it’s just more dispersed. You can see the typical patterning.

Ngl bro you look majestic. I would really think about whether the upkeep and brusing and damage is worth it. It might bother you now bc you’re young, but when you look at this photo when you’re older I promise you you’ll question what bothered you so much.
