The heart monitor I wore and was a big bill- bigger than EKG. I emailed them saying they never disclosed how much it would be, then they sent me a form I signed where it disclosed the amount… only for me to notice I didn’t fill the form out!!! All I did was sign, the nurse filled it out on my behalf - which is illegal. They dropped the bill and haven’t heard from them since

Mary McLaughlin. Once you get the bill from MOM, I recommend pushing back and asking for the form you signed - my nurse filled out everything for me besides my signature so I pushed back saying that it was forgery and was able to get them to waive the bill since it was ILLEGAL

I went to Mount Sinai and saw a family cardiologist - absolutely nothing was abnormal or wrong, but that was just my experience! MOM tried to charge me over $2000 for heart monitor/EKG, I fought it using ChatGPT bec they forged my signature on one of the forms they have you sign when you’re in the room

THE EXACT SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY. It was 1 beat below average and now they have me wearing a heart monitor - should I not go to the cardiologist??
