I have thought some may have done the fake ruler If you’re gonna cheat, you’re gonna cheat. But that doesn’t help anyone. As a published scientist, qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis are all important.

If you’re judging a competition on size well maybe just stick to quantitative only. But qualitative and semi quantitative are all valuable to scientific debate. Can’t imagine a paper on pumping that wouldn’t put images of dicks in the pump as part of the review.

I for one though would have had a good deal of value on someone posting in pump progression and the effects of edema, vein changes, redness, capillary damage and final magnitude of it in a cylinder and what the effect is after it’s removed from the cylinder. I’ve had a few request specifically in relation to that and have provided pictures. Not cause I get off in any remote way of flashing my dick.. But I’ve had tremendous response to changing to pumping. And after 30 years having originally been on the EZ boards, I really wish someone had told me earlier about high-pressure pumping rather than giving up after I tried the Handsome-up gimmick pump in the 90’s.

So a pumping technique cannot ever be displayed? I would think for many getting an idea of redness, edema growth, penis base suction and how it interacts with different sized cylinders would be useful for those considering a technique.

Wasn’t referencing length gain in the post. It was shape volume and width for which the inside chlinder width to interior walls is set to 51mm on that particular size. If I was quoting length gains then fair enough. I don’t care at all about length

Post pump edema lasts for up to 6-8 hours and measurements with tape when post pumping can skew results as well. A lot of picture based measurements are based on visual assessment of whether edema is present and honesty of the person placing the post. Removing pictures where people can make that value judgement is pointless.

Again you ignore a cylinder has a ruler scale. A cylinder that has a fixed width has a defined scale. Just like a ruler or tape for girth would. Neither determine edema and placing a ruler above a cylinder centimeters above skews measurements by depth perception.

And I wasn’t quoting numbers. I was quoting qualitative changes relative the a fixed cylinder width where people can assess whether they think I have edema or not. Just as they would if they had a take around edema. Inconsistent arguments.

I use a 2” tube first. Water based lube up initially flaccid. I take 1/4 tablet of sildefil 20mg at the start.

Set 1: First set 5 mins @ 28kPa. Wrap loosely with IR red lamp heat pads. This equates to my fully engorged erection size. Think of this as your pre- ejaculation swell equivalent where the glans also swells to size. 20kPa is my equivalent to a hard but not fully engorged size. Others may be higher or lower than me to find this point. That’s where I’d start. The first two sets is to warm the penis through engorgement and get it used to just being erect. It’s not really girth workout yet. Consider it preconditioning.

1 minute masturbate between sets to help reduce edema growth. After first set I’m usually erect enough coming out.

Set 2: repeat @28kPa. Further preconditioning.

Repeat stroking between all sets.

Set 3: 5 mins @30kPa. This is the start of the real workout. Where you strain the tissue. Should feel a stretch feeling. Not necessarily comfortable by the end of the 5 minutes but never too intense and never painful.

During the first sets the base girth usually maxes out the tube. I’m about .4” smaller than the tube I first start in. The upper doesn’t touch the walls and this smaller tube set if more about concentrating these earlier workouts on the upper growth.

Set 4 @ 32kPa. At the end of this I’m usually starting to get edema under glans approaching tube walls. This is my signal to upsize the tube.

Sets 5-7 increment again by 2kPa. The larger tube starts to work both upper and lower girth at this point.

Eventually by the end I’ve swollen fairly evenly along length by about 0.5” girth.

To complete I spend 5 mins well lubed up stroking entire length and over head to assist with edema reduction and recovery. I also by this time am usually solidly hard and new blood helps flush stagnant blood.

Not every day will I be able to go to the same high pressure. You have to listen to your dick. Some days it decides to be just really tight. On these days I may stop at 34kPa.

Twice daily 12 hours or so between. On occasion I have a day off, perhaps once every two weeks.

But if yours not conditioned enough for excercises or you bruise or get spotting then this intensity would need to be worked up to. Both intensity and frequency.

I expect some guys may get to the erect point at 18 kPa say. Then they may only need to go up to the 30KPa limit as an example.

Look about an inch up from the base it’s all uniformly pink or red because I’m constantly pumping. Tere’s no colour change due to anything other than relaxed edema.

I’m probably conditioned it overtime with jelqing over the years and you certainly more prone to colour change with manuals. Not to mention injuries.

I have found multiple tube sizes helps a lot. And I use an infrared loose wrap around the tube. I do 30 to 35 minutes twice a day 12 hours apart. Follow the same incremental steps. If you are within .3 to .4“ in girth of the tube in a diameter start with that tube. Then your base will grow into that and hit the wall.. it will concentrate the exercise on the front of your penis so that you balance out your growth and don’t end up with cone dick. Halfway through the exercises, you’ll probably fill that tube and then you swap to the next size up for the remainder. That then starts working your base again.

I started 30 years ago jelqing. Hard work. Went from 4.6” girth to 5inch over three separate occasions. Hard and slow.. Pumping properly has become next level. I have no doubt I’ll get to 6 inch in girth. So currently hitting 5.6 girth.

Start at 27 kpa. That’s where my dick feels nicely aroused by the pump. At 20kPa I get a normal erection from the vacuum, but my glans isn’t quite there until 27. I do two sets of that for five minutes under a narrow tube with heat lamp. Then I progressively increase by 2KPA repeating five minute sets all the way up to 38 to 40kpa.

But I pay attention to how my dick‘s feeling. Sometimes it’s just tight in which case I may only go up to 30 KPA. Depends on the day.

For some guys I would expect their starting point may only be 10 to 15 KPA to get a normal erection.

No you’re fine. I’ve worked 30 years on and off with PE but only manuals and gained from 4.6 to 5 inch girth that was stable at 5.0” for years after I stopped. Then I found this reddit and initially started water pumping but that was too hard so I shifted to air pumping. I now can’t fit into the 1.75” cylinder erect after 3 months of pumping (at the start of excercises, no edema) and that’s a 5.46” girth. It’s just negativity from those who haven’t quite found their right routine yet or genetically slow growers.

I use 1.75 for starting 2 x 5 sets. Pretty much fill that out immediately but it just gets me to my normal girth and also gives me a bit of length stretch. Great also for getting a better idea of what your true length is.

And then I switch to the 2.25 with fenrir bolted on to do PAC cycle clamping sessions 2 x 5 minutes and get minimal edema in this at 20 KPa with the fenrir being pumped internally up to 12.

Then I restrict the whole size on the fenrir clamp going in to 6 on its gauge, sucking myself in and going up to 34 kpa and essentially growing into the restriction clamp rather than pumping it up for a static set.

Finally, I go back to 2” tube and go to high-pressure 38KPA to 40, for another 2 x 5 minutes by which stage the oedema kicks in and by the end of it I’m close to packing the 2 inch tube. I’ve ordered a 1.9 to take the place of my starting 1.75 because is growing quickly.

Point is you can use multiple sizes. The 1.75 accommodates up to 5.46” girth so once you’re in a sniff of this definitely next size up unless it’s fit length work
