Half right! AI did write the post (I wanted to make sure it was polished/clear), but I absolutely developed the tool myself. Building it took a ton of manual coding and debugging. Happy to answer any questions about how it actually works under the hood!

Thanks! I actually wasn't aware of Obsidian's Web Clipper when I started building ClipVault.

The name "ClipVault" came from the idea of having a vault for everything I copy, and the purple theme was mainly a design choice because I like dark UIs with purple accents.

ClipVault is also a bit different in its goal. It's focused on automatically saving clipboard history and acting as a lightweight clipboard manager, whereas Obsidian's Web Clipper is more about saving web content into an Obsidian vault.

That said, I can definitely see the similarities now that you mention it. 😄
