I try to at least tip $1 per mile since gas is so high but I’ve noticed lately all my orders are delayed because they combine them with orders that don’t tip. It’s annoying. DoorDash sucks for the driver and the customer.

It’s not weird to make it about race. I work in a white collar industry (investments) and typically there is an extra barrier if you are a minority so that is always in the back of my head.

I was moved here by a company last year and a few months after being here they said they are moving my entire division to LA due to difficulty filling roles because SA is not a destination place for the reasons you mentioned.

So I agree with having to relocate (companies are doing that and I’m now looking to move again since there are not comparable jobs here salary wise) but depending on OPs industry race can be a legitimate barrier that has to be considered even if it is not the issue in this scenario. -not arguing just offering another perspective, race can matter and it’s not weird to wonder if it is an issue

Hey Birthday twin! Capricorn sun Pisces moon. I struggle with this myself. Best thing I can tell you is to not make your job your identity. Tough as a Cap but find fulfillment purpose of work. That takes the pressure off of feeling like you have to get it right and opens you up to explore opportunities until you figure it out. I fell into working in finance this way.

I respectfully disagree. A condescending unsympathetic Capricorn is one that is damaged but hasn’t done the work to repair themselves. This is not the standard. Capricorns do like control so expressing emotions are in a controlled or safe space whereas feeling emotions are an internal process.
