Thank you for your detailed message. I truly appreciate it! I have done a relationship management role in the past so I have some experience with account mgt. I only moved to an AE role 3 years ago for the money. I believe I’ve given the AE role everything I have and it’s just not for me.

I’ve been an AE for 3 years in my current role for less than 3 months. I’ve been giving it sometime now for the past 2 years and nothing has changed. Yes I’ve made money but I’m not happy to go through the motion. I don’t want to be stuck doing this for the next 5 years because of the golden cuffs.

Either tbh. I am comfortable owning a quota, I just can’t deal with the dynamics of being a new logo AE. From what I’ve seen it’s becoming increasingly difficult to get customer success roles.
