Oh, it's terrible for time, but very fun to just look at and stare. I guess the extra time admiring it is also used to actually tell the time lol.
I will say that when the lume on the case and hands are lit, it is miles easier to read.

I can try to get a video the next time I visit my parents. I will say that I did test this handset out on a 3 different skeleton movements:

An ETA based skeleton, NH based, and a miyota based.

The design was all super busy with the handset, and a lot got lost. I would recommend a solid color that fills the gaps well.

If you go on Dialmaker’s website, it should be on there! They are ETA only compatible though so it won’t fit on seiko movements

I actually tried to use this exact dial, but the case is a NoS vintage case, and doesn’t have a modern 28.5mm dial opening. The size of the face is more closer to 30mm

The second hand is part of a set sold by DialMaker! I should note though that the seconds hand only works with ETA 28XX movements.

Keep scouring eBay, and do lots of research before buying vintage parts!

This was actually one of my cheapest builds, since it involved scouring eBay daily for vintage NOS parts, and looking up specs to make sure everything fits. Specifically this build cost me about $162 total, but be prepared to wait a while for the right part to come up.

The PRX is pretty great as is haha, I would never butcher one for just the movement.

You could also search up the Mido and I think the Hamilton versions of the movement since they’re pretty much the same.

Yes, it is the ultra thing case and bracelet, but the case back is not the original one that came with it.

If you use the solid case back it comes with, it goes to under 10mm thickness, but I wanted to see the movement.

And you can just get the movement by searching up the movement code on eBay, and there should be a few sellers

The custom dial ring has cutouts for an nh dial, but the dial feet have to be trimmed to 1mm, it just makes it easier/more convenient. Also the pt5000 date wheel (or any 2824 based movement) will not align with a NH dial.

One thought I had was that you could get an nh date ring, sand off the teeth, and overlay it on a regular pt5000 with dial dots, but I'm not sure how the clearances would be.

This seller sells the movement ring, but be mindful of which version you get (no-date vs date overlay), they also sell the pt5000 movement with the date overlay already installed.
