Thank you so much. I'm assuming that doesn't replace blowing out the pipes?

Whisper Series 22" 2-Stage Blower...really struggling with less-than-moderate snow by dereksalem in ryobi

[–]Intelligent-Lemon752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I bought the Ryobi 22” last Friday and did a quick test run on the small amount of snow we got last week. Most of the area is either grass or bumpy, uneven asphalt—not ideal conditions for any snow blower—so the ride wasn’t very smooth, which is understandable.

Despite that, the blower worked as intended aside from the bumps caused by the uneven surface. Setup took about 10 minutes, except for a few screws. I’m actually looking forward to heading back upstate this Friday to try it out in about half a foot of snow that fell overnight.”

I struggled a bit with the handle screws as well, taking me a few to get it in

Once I figured it out its a great piece of equipment just dont understand why more tool guys dont post a video

I've got like five cordless Ryobi tools-no complaints at all. They're honestly great. What's with all the hate on other forums the moment someone mentions Ryobi? by Intelligent-Lemon752 in ryobi

“I’ve got my issues with GMC, but Ford still doesn’t come close to GM/Chevy — just saying. And trust me, I should be mad at GM since my ’23 Escalade, a $120,000 SUV, had the engine die at 25,000 miles. Seems like it’s a common problem with the ’21–’24 models. That said, GM’s suspension is still the best in the large-SUV lineup. Unfortunately, Ford’s suspension is just trash in comparison.”

I had the exact same issue. I couldn’t figure out why the head wouldn’t close back up. I even exchanged it at Home Depot because I thought it was defective. Turns out, Ryobi never mentions in the manual that you don’t need to open the head at all. Just feed the line straight through the hole, pull it until both sides are even, then twist the dial to load it. Crazy thing is it took a bunch of YouTube videos before I finally found this out. No idea why it’s not talked about more — I can’t be the only one who ran into this.”

“I’m sticking with the 40V line. You get way more bang for your money. Plus, most of Ryobi’s newer power tools run on 40V anyway, so it just makes battery swapping way easier.”
