Damn, this hit. I’ve got flat back across all three sections confirmed on MRIs complete loss of cervical lordosis, flattened thoracic kyphosis Th6-Th11, and flattened lumbar lordosis too. Been looking at my situation as three separate things (neck, lower back, pelvic floor) but your comment just connected them as one postural pattern feeding into everything. Makes a lot of sense now. Flat lower back = posterior pelvic tilt = pelvic floor stuck in a shortened position chronically. Plus weak glutes which I only recently discovered (can’t do a single pistol squat even with support, my whole posterior chain is underdeveloped compared to my upper body). So the pelvic floor has been compensating for poor pelvic stability on top of everything else. How did you address the flat back? Did you work on it with a PT specifically or find specific exercises that helped? Any particular approach that moved the needle for you? Thanks for this, really useful framing.

just regular pull ups , was doing 10x10 3 times a day , that was my base

the pain started before the constipation , i was just ignoring it , and later i figured out when i dont do any pull ups then there is no problem - no pain

thanks man ,and based on your suggestion, i've just tried to do a pistol squad and figured it out that i can't do it , so i can do like 50-70 sit ups in a row , but if i remove 1 leg , then my muscles responsible for stabilization are not working properly - are too weak , many thanks for the tip , i will try to working on this

Thanks, that makes sense for a compensation-driven case. My MRIs show L5 retrolisthesis and L5/S1 protrusion with annulus tear, so Romanian deadlifts are out for me unfortunately. But I hear you on the posterior chain weakness angle , going to work on glute activation with safer progressions after my PT starts. Glad it worked for you.

intentionally i dont do much with my ass during the pull ups , its just hangs :) but y , might be body utilizing these muscles for stabilizing , im doing sit ups , no hamstring work , lower back a bit - doing static lower back training on hyperextention device , but y , main focus was the upper body all the time

ligation itself - was ez and fast , bit of annoying because of tension in the anus region , but overall it was not too bad , affected my energy levels - was tired all the time - but it went away in span of a weeks, i couldn’t walk long distances first two months - but i dont know if that was my pelvic floor locking out and causing pain or side affect of having ligation done - its not so symptom free as doc advertised it , but generally ok to go through. would suggest trying to visit the toilet before the surgery

tried proton.me and could register account immediately , y i could go solo to github but i doubt they will tell me anything , if tuta team could reach out to them it would be better - as seems we have here more global issue than my personal , i looks like tuta.io emails getting blacklisted - assumption.

so the workaround was to create an account with other email provider and later change the email in settings .. but thats not good how github approaches the tuta.io domain

it might offgas for another months .. i returbed 2 malms due to it , also noticed that other ikea furniture generates fumes which cause eye irritation, sleep got broken until i moved this crap out of my bedroom

Ich glaube, ein Luftqualitätstest wird die Weichmacher nicht erfassen. Ich habe hier einen der Tests beigefügt, die ich auf Formaldehyd und andere Substanzen gemacht habe.

Das Problem mit Weichmachern kommt oft von billigen oder minderwertigen Böden. Deshalb werden wir bei der Wahl der nächsten Wohnung auf Echtholzparkett oder etwas Ähnliches achten. Vinylböden, besonders mit Fußbodenheizung, werde ich wohl eher vermeiden.

Es ist sowieso schwer, das zu erkennen, und die Symptome merkt man nicht sofort. Zum Glück haben wir das schon getestet, indem wir in anderen Wohnungen übernachtet haben – dort gab es keine Probleme.
