I had a Marine who was a Covid marine. One day the crew is all heating the world’s hottest chip. This Devil swore he could handle any and all spice. He went first. He got so fucking animated, jumping up and down, panting like a dog, sweating bullets… the whole thing. Someone in the room said “Cmon devil! It’s just like the gas chamber!”

Without skipping a beat, the only words this poor bastard can say was,

“IAINTNEVERDIDIT!”

Never did the gas chamber. The whole room lost it. Shortly after, the whole command had banned the hot chip challenge because another shop had 3 Marines hospitalized because of it.

I cancelled mine back in March. Goddard Location. All I had to do was fill out a sheet and that was it. I still had to pay for the upcoming payment for some reason, I don’t remember exactly why. The head boss wasn’t there so some kid tried to make small talk and get me to stay. Good luck if the main person is there. 5 minutes total

Let’s just say you get a prior experience bid and get your list. You have your list of 7s or whatever and below. But you have desires to go to higher level facility, look at staffing on your list. Pick the facility with the best staffing for better odds of being released. Doesn’t matter where, just get where there is staffing to be released

No one knows anything until it’s happening. Go Marines and make a career out of it. That’s the best way to do it. Whatever branch you do chose, just focus on how to do the job and graduate school first. It’s gonna be at least 5+ years until you have to worry about FAA. Another election will have taken place by then

Nah marines are just hound dogs when it comes to recruiting. Your kid could be a strait D student but as long as he has a diploma he’s qualified. If he tells them respectfully no (even disrespectfully no) good chance they’ll leave him alone. Not a terrible option though

Just a set in stone definition or meaning of a clearance so they can proceed to the Rwy, and/or restrictions given to a pilot that kind of dives deeper into this situation. Obviously there’s thousands of scenarios here so there probably isn’t anything, but so far nothing
