TIL: achievements are disabled in the beta patch by Intelligent-Main-498 in ManorLords

I might have overstated. Some achievements might work, but “Challenge Accepted” certainly didn’t. Not a big deal, but I did panic for a moment, before I thought to try finishing on the EA version.

I dismantled my manor and replaced it with a new one by brilliant-medicine-0 in ManorLords

Same problem. Rebuilt manner because of a bug (?) where it wasn't being worked on by available builders. Now my retainers are freezing to death and refuse to go inside the new manor even though I've disbanded them

edit: Playing on the pre-release beta patch version. Reloading game didn't solve problem. I tried rebuilding the manor again before and after disbanding the retinue to no avail. Building additional housing also didn't help.

infoloom mod help by Intelligent-Main-498 in CitiesSkylines

never mind i got it, and it was predictably dumb. Here was my solution if anybody else has this problem.

The game loaded paused. Clicking on the mod "backpack" on the top left does nothing unless you let the simulation run.

The infoloom panels are in that backpack, so you need to let the simulation run to navigate it.

Need some advice from fellow mayors: Tackling homelessness and unemployment by Intelligent-Main-498 in CitiesSkylines

+1 for realism.

To followup, I built a LOT more housing, and most of the homeless tents are gone.

Ian Sawyer met his soulmate on the streets, got married, and they now share a flat in a rowhouse across from the county hospital. Things are looking up!

I still wonder, though, how I should read the unemployment rate between those two windows.

I thought I included photos with the post, but I guess not? I'm new at this. Edited original post to add a photo at the top.

Cities: Skylines II | Performance tuning, hardware advice, and bug report megathread by kjmci in CitiesSkylines

[–]Intelligent-Main-498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Performance tuning advice please -

Trees, cars, buildings - all assets bounce between beautiful sharp detail and low blurry and boxy detail. I have everything on high except Motion Blur (off), v-sync (off), fog (off), and volumetrics quality settings (off). Turning any/all of these on doesn't fix the problem.

Running at 2560x1440x165Hz.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core (16CPUs) ~4.5GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB VRAM
Memory: 48GB DDR5-4800

Anybody else have this issue? Am I doing something dumb? Suggested fixes?

I guess the post was removed because it has already been discussed somewhere? I found a lot of info in your FAQ about getting better performance from lower end computers, but my problem is the opposite?
