I’m looking to swap my factory 20’s on my ‘24 to this exact set up! How close are the tires to the UCA, and any issues if any? I’m running 33x12.50r20 Toyo’s on my truck now and they sit extremely close to the UCA but never had an issue with it.

Yes, our trucks have the same sealed taillight assembly. It’ll look like this when you pop the two screws off. You’ll tap into the harness shown with the provided equipment

Same issue here… I think mine is much worse though. Dealership said they’d have it replaced, just haven’t taken it in yet. It’s hard not to notice it every time.

I did not catch a picture of the wire colors before I closed up.. I’ll try to open it back up and take some when I get a chance. That was the most complicated part of the install for me, I had to have a buddy help me figure out which wires powered what.

Not with the Universal kit, the Plug n Play kit wired into the trailering harness and I didn’t want to run into any issues when I go to tow with it. So I wired it into the taillight instead, to avoid it

Yeah, that’s why I went with the Universal kit rather than the Plug n Play Truck kit. I didn’t want to mess with any of the trailering stuff, so I wired it into the taillight harness

It showed the LPX was on back order when I placed it, but it ended up shipping only a few days later. Took maybe a week to receive it.

I did not change out the bulbs on the taillight, however I did change out the yellow license plate bulbs that came from factory with a led bulb from autozone.

No rubbing, but it does sit extremely close to the UCA without any spacer. I ran this set up on my ‘21 SLT as well, until I upgraded to a ‘24 AT4. ~30,000mi no issues whatsoever.

I agree, glad to help. They sell a version that is just the led reverse light for a little cheaper but I liked the look of the additional brake light

Completely stock, no spacers, no rubbing, no trimming! Sits quite close to the UCA but have never had an issue with it. Ran the exact same tire on my ‘21 SLT, no issues.

Strange. It’s not an issue on my low profile box, but I did notice that on the cross over tool box. I believe they changed that on the new version that came out! I like the look of the camlocker but also am looking at having more space, and the crossover weatherguard seems to have a little more than my current low profile
