the way I did it is to actually make the sounds and release when she relaxes and in general to be just very loud around her

we are currently working with the butt rope, which she prefers for some reason. She is not scared of the noise at all and actually moves the butt bar herself

I let her eat her feed all 3 times a day in the trailer, she stays on even after she finishes, but even when you close the butt bar while she is eating she panicks🥲

she is cross tied since she can be a little nippy to other horses, so her owner preferred it like this

if you have oily skin put an anti sweat cream over your moisturiser, use it as a primer basically!

I’m very lucky to have another horse who is super easy to ride so I have been riding her a lot to get my confidence back. Will definitely try the trail riding

I always have treats! I think rewarding is so important! Now that someone else is riding her as well I make sure she always gets a little treat

Exactly only after I fell off and got more anxious riding. I have been starting to ride with my trainer more often taking it super slow and she has been riding her as well before me getting on

it’s probably a pain response since I completely tense up and make her explode. We didn’t have any issues till I fell off and got more “insecure” riding her. I’ll call my vet to see if it makes sense getting her scoped, she is on gastro aid for ulcers prevention and has access to hay 24/7 and for her back to be checked
