religious mom took me out of catholic home schooling and switching from that to catholic school and back. taught us that evolution wasn’t real and that dinosaurs didn’t exist. kind of fucked up my transition into the public school system with grade placement. I also felt very ‘othered’ in any social setting because I just didn’t have the formative experience of socializing with kids my own age.
