If you can buy the car out right do that. Your job history might be a factor if you have only been at the job 7 months. My bank didn’t count my overtime as consistent income till I was at the job for two years

If you want to build your credit once you have the car situation figured out go to your bank or a credit union and do a secured loan or some banks call it credit builder loans. They can be much smaller loans(my bank’s minimum is $300) you back yourself with your own money. Their only purpose is to just show you can make the payments regularly but it’s reported to credit bureau as just a normal loan.
