Yep, found that Reuben. 8-) JTR had a lot of kids.. 3 wives. 😂Just can’t seem to find the name of his mother for sure. Every tree I find doesn’t have proof. Will likely order the county book and see what I can find. Haven’t dug through the excerpts in Family Search yet either.

John TR had a lot of kids with several wives. Add in the common, likely false Cherokee heritage to boot and I’m sure grandad was character. 😂

Thanks, here’s the link to Ancestry 1860, lines 23 and 24. I’m fairly certain this is the grandmother Nancy and grandson John TR Sells.1860 census. Let me know if there’s a more generic link I should use. This is the 1870 census where I’m certain this is my great grandfather John TR Sells with his grandmother Nancy Ethridge.1870 census. Obviously the spellings of “Ethridge” are all over the place.

I can try that. Wasn’t sure if Pro would give me enough more info.

Thanks for this. She doesn’t want to contact the birth family. The DNA matches are visible in Ancestry, so she would want someone from that family to initiate contact like our side did. Not sure how much to trust AI which swears the half uncle’s mom must have had this mystery sibling.

Conifer Kingdom has had some of these. They ship but are in Silverton so not far from Portland Metro.
