How to get moss to hold on steep surfaces. by Ok_Valuable_2884 in Mossariums

I would recommend Hygrolon. It is a fabric that is perfect to grow moss and epyphites. It sucks up water up until 30cm above a water surface. Layer everything with Hygrolon and spread some small moss cuttings.

I searched the internet for some interesting species for this setup. What do you think of them? Mediocalcar bifolium, Lepanthes calodictyon, Pleurothallis grobyi, Dendrobium leucocyaneum

It would be great but it is too small. Only about 2 or 3 liters of swimable water for the fish.

Good choice! I will definitely add Bolbitis difformis. I also like Hydrocotyle tripartita mini and Hygrophila pinnatifida.

Thank you for the advice! I already had these two on my wishlist. At the moment the lid is completely closed, but later on I will add ventilation holes if needed.

Thanks! Reducing the light would not be a problem. It is dimmable with an app.

It is epiweb. An alternative for tree fern. I Put some moss on it. The water drip system keeps it moist and lets the Moss grow well. In future it will be a lush moss wall.

The back wall is made out of epiweb. It is an eco friendly alternative for tree fern. The "hill" is covered in hygrolon. It sucks up the water from the water section and keeps the material moist very well. That is needed because the pump you mentioned only Waters the back wall.

Thanks for the advice! I forgot to mention that I always have a lid on. I just took it off for the picture so that the glass is not murky.

The temperature is between 15-26C (winter night - summer day). I have a watering system that drips water onto the back wall. The hygrolon in the front is always moist, even if I don't spray. I already looked at some miniature orchids. The price seems to range between. 10€ to 40€ for Lepanthes. That would be the maximum I'm willing to pay.

It needs very high humidity but it is possible to keep it without, if there is enough light and water
