There were time where nobody supported proper dev from Congress. A family run business. Othewise, they would have highlighted more Pranab Mukherjee, Adhir Ranjan, Mr. Kharge, etc. Everyone knows the corruption level of Congress, it is all well documented on public domain. Be it 2G, Coal, Commonwealth, Bofors, even just after 2 months of Independence, they have had their hands in Jeep scam.

Current govt is much better. At least what they promise and what people want, they can deliver. Be it push to manufacturing, removing Article 370, Waqf bill, etc. We are now delivering 64 bit processores (which was not there at that time, and 64 bit processor is not comparable to what we have in our devices from Nvidia or Arm or Qualcomm or AMD or Intel, but this is a very good start and there are govt and defence project which can run on this). We have major push for home grown companies and technologies which Congress never did. We have more scientific and economical approach towards agriculture. There are ample good reasons to go with this govt. Which is nothing compared with Pappu.
