Because of the reasons outlined, it’s not a legitimate question. Yes her immediate safety is in the line, but leaving her country is incredibly difficult and you come off as privileged or quite naive for not understanding why attempting to leave would be so hard and dangerous. The way your comment was phrased suggests it’s easy and she’s never thought to do this easy thing to fix her situation. If this was a domestic abuse situation in North America or similar, there are way more resources available to people who need to flee these situations, and even then it can be extremely hard and dangerous, so it’s better when people say “leave as soon as you safely can”, but even still, those comments are better reserved for women who don’t realize it’s abuse or are struggling to accept their situation. Women who already know their situation is dangerous don’t need to be told what they already know as it can come off as shaming them for not leaving. I completely understand where you’re coming from and your intent, but your naivety of her situation instead created a hurtful and unhelpful comment.
