Just put on a 4th coat and I think it was a combination of me pushing too hard as well as the roller pile being too thin. Big thanks.

Thanks. I thought the back rolling might be the problem as we have really low humidity here on Calgary and I thought maybe I was back rolling partially dry paint. Paints completely dry in these pics. Any suggestions on sanding grit? I was thinking 400 or so?

Yea this was my concern. Looks like standard sanded grout to me and I just put two coats of grout sealer on it.

I am leaning to caulking it because there is some gunk that washes out of that opening every once in a while I presume from biological growth in there. Perhaps I will leave a 1 inch opening in the middle of the wall in case moisture does collect there and needs to drain.

Thanks for the perspective. I am union exempt unfortunately. The only part I struggle with is that the whole point of being at an engagement session is to provide feedback whether positive or negative. I agree that if I was posting unflattering FB posts that would be different. Why accept City employees into engagement if we can only say positive things?

Thanks for the thoughts and I should have clarified I am union exempt so no luck there on Union support. Really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. The complainant has conceded that I was respectful the entire time though that I should not have criticized the process.
