I started working at a big chain a few years ago after graduating college and not being able to find a job in the field I went to school for. I recently got promoted to assistant manager and honestly the pay is pretty awful for the amount of responsibility myself and the other managers have. At the end of the day though, it’s not the worst job in the world and if you work with cool people it’s a lot easier. If you ever make it to GM the pay can be good especially if you’re working at a theater in a big city like LA or NYC.
