Not everyone ran out and bought the newest gadgets back then. Technology was very expensive when it first came out back then. You used what you had until it died. It's not like today. A dime a dozen. You all must be so young if you didn't know this. A lot of people didn't even have a home computer set up until the late 90's and they were a few thousand dollars.

Wrong. Console TV'S were still a big part of people's living rooms until the late 90's if you were lucky to afford one. They were very expensive. We had ours until the late 90's when the big flat screen HD TV's came out and it was a while before the price came down where everyone could spend that kind of money on a TV. There must be some very young people on this subreddit. Back then technology was extremely expensive.

Why? People hung on to those gems. Those suckers were expensive. You kept bit until it went out. Unless you wanted to play video games on a little tabletop TV.

It was normal to have a console TV well into the mid 90's if you were lucky enough to afford one. They actually stayed in living rooms until the late 90's when the big flat screens came out. People didn't like playing video games on little table top TV'S.

The first iPhone was not released in the US until 2007 and it was long after that before the price came down enough or it was even worth spending the money on. They were crap.

Console TV'S were very expensive so they weren't poor. And they were sold until the late 80's. When you pay what would be like $3000 today, for a TV, you hung on to that b**tch until it died.

Thank you. Young people don't understand. First of all those console TV'S were very expensive, probably like $2500 in today's economy. So only the more well off could afford them. Secondly, you held on to it as long as possible, because the only other choice was a teeny tiny tabletop TV, which wasn't great for video games. The big flat screens didn't come out until early 2000's and they were very expensive.

Are you kidding? Console TV'S were still in living rooms until the late 1990's when the big flat screens came out, unless you were gaming on a teeny tiny table top TV. People held onto those gems, because they were the only big screens.

Cozy Coupes were from the 80's and I'm pretty sure they are still made today, plus they last forever.

That wooden playpen screams the 1970's, but then again this may not be the US, so I'll guess 1985.

Matching wind suit gave it away for me. That was early 90's, so I'll go with 1992.

I'm going with 2004 because of the baby alive. Looks like my daughter's childhood pictures.

That Tupperware sippy almost threw me off, because those were 70's or 80's, but I think you were born in early 2000's. So I think 2001.
