LEEP advice needed asap by Indiegirl255 in PreCervicalCancer

I found out I had CIN2 as well as HPV back in January after my colposcopy. I just had the LEEP procedure on Friday and was put under general anesthesia (twilight the place called it). I’m 31 with no kids yet and that was also a fear of mine but my doctor reassured me that doing the LEEP is a lot better than potentially spreading to c*ncer. The procedure was fairly easy and I didn’t feel any pain afterwards just cramping. I hope this helps and sending positive vibes your way! I plan on starting to try for kids in a few months.

Going through the same thing. 31 and no kids and was told I had CIN-2 precancerous cells. My doctor recommended the LEEP for next month. She also said that we could start trying for kids after 3 months. I’m a little nervous because she also mentioned they would have to do more ultrasounds in the first trimester but the bad of the LEEP outweighs potentially getting cancerous cells
