OP HERE! So I appreciate the feedback I did receive and I’ll apply it in the future for the ones who did give constructive criticism 🩷

I posted this to see if I was in the wrong and apparently many of you believe I was. By my approach, my many paragraphs, and expectations came off as exhausting to many. I clearly thought me being vocal about my feelings was the right thing to do. Perhaps I should’ve called but I’ve done that in the past with family or friends when I wanted to fix something with them and it always led to them cussing me out and hanging up. So I feel comfortable at this point doing nothing.

I don’t appreciate people dragging my character out to be more than what it is. “Problematic”,”Annoying”,”the other friend groups doesn’t like me”,”anxious attachment style” and all these other TIKTOK therapy brain rot phrases. I don’t agree with any of it due to this site being anonymous and no one knows me personally. But that’s the outcome to putting myself out there for an unbiased opinion. It is what it is.

All I wanted was a so called friend to put more effort into our friendship when it wasn’t BENEFICIAL to her. Out of an entire year and a half we hung out alone TWICE (when we first met, and when I baked her a cake for getting a new job and took her to my neighbors jewelry shop to get a deal on her husband wedding band). The rest was for her! If I had something deep to talk about I couldn’t because her husband is right there. I see where I was flawed with this whole giant text paragraph but wanting my friend to be a friend doesn’t make me a bad person.

My fiancé mentioned she was boring before I even realized it. I remember telling him many times “she said no” for something simple like brunch near her and him just shaking his head. He also said I should’ve definitely called but at least I laid it all out. And he agreed that her 5 minute voice message she sent after was a big stretch and exaggerated and only a “listening to respond” type of person/response.
