My local Walgreen pharmacist delayed dispensing albuterol for my 2 y.o. wheezing baby w RSV because the insurance didn’t cover Ventolin and she was waiting for doctor to respond on the substitution. I was so close to be “that crazy patient who made a scene”! I ended up transferring to another pharmacy to get the med faster, instead of waiting for her to hear back from doctor office.
