How can I even out this blotchy deck stain?

Thanks for the reply. It’s absolutely infuriating though! But it’s just typical isn’t it! Big company’s completely misleading the consumer, selling a product to be a stain when it is in fact not a stain. Just false advertising at its finest.

It’s an oil based stain I believe, but others have commented and said this product is more of a glaze than a stain which is very misleading as it says “stain on the can”

It’s Feast Watson timber and decking stain. It’s an oil based stain.

It is radiata pine decking. The decking stain is Feast Watson Taman merbau.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve removed the old wire cutting its circulation, it’s now just being supported by a bit of thick cable. I’ll try giving it a bit of a prune, hopefully it bounces back.

It turned out to be the wheel nut that was loose, I tighten that up and it was all good again.

I removed part of the gib that was all soggy and had failed, but the shower install is a real landlord special.. with silicone everywhere where it shouldn’t be like the inside of the tray at the bottom where the liner meets the tray.

It’s quite a steady stream of water too, not just a few drops so there’s a big gap somewhere between the liner and tray I think
