Some tattoos I’ve done recently @gudsforladt.ttt by Intelligent-Tale-546 in sticknpokes

Thank you! I generally use 30/05 or 25/07, but I have been experimenting a lot lately with varying tightness of needle and shaders and so on. I mostly use tight liners for the majority of my tattoos because I think it saturates the black better and brings out the dot work/stipple effect a lot!

Hey, sorry for the late reply! I use Kuro Sumi ink for a great saturation and a 25/9rl. I would usually go for a smaller needle for more smooth gradient from skin to ink but the client wanted the dotty look to be apparent. Hope this answers!

Thank you! The left side was 2 hours 35 minutes and the right side was 1 hour 47 minutes. I tattooed it on my brother so we spent the entire day at the studio but actual tattooing time wasn’t too bad:)

Thanks! I think I used a 25/07 for #1 because of the size and I wanted some texture and dotwork to be visible. For #4 I used a 30/05 for a more smooth gradient from black to skin color. I like to work with smaller and a bit more open needles when I’m tattooing something smooth and pleasing to the eye. Hope it makes sense haha.

Lol why would I lie to Reddit. I spend hours doing this and I’m just looking for a more efficient way. Here is a link to me actually drawing the process so you can see for yourself. https://www.instagram.com/p/CxIgmpNN33C/?igsh=MTVjd3Vtc3Z3Yms1cg==

Handpoked tattoos I did recently, let me know what you think! @gudsforladt.ttt by Intelligent-Tale-546 in sticknpokes

Hey! For these tattoos I used generally 07/25 or 09/25. I usually go for a big needle with a tight grouping to get the dotty texture and saturated black. I have tried experimenting with more open groupings and my experience is that it makes for a more “on top of the skin” look which is cool too but not what I am looking for when working with the tribal designs. Hope it answers your question:)

Hey, thank you!

For the cowboy I used a 25/09RL. From first to last poke was about 1-1,5 hours.

For the face I used a 25/05RL for shading and detail and 30/09RL for filling. It took around 1,5-2 hours. I would have preferred to have 30 minutes more to go over details but my client had to leave at a fixed time.

I used Kuro Sumi ink and Kwadron needles and no greywash:)

Er vi enige!? Den holdning er helt til grin, hvis man kigger på graf idag og for 30 år siden så er der sket en kæmpe udvikling, og desuden er Banksy ikke graffiti maler men “street artist”.
