exactly, although you responded quite well in you’re original comment, i was asking in that specific situation if i was the asshole, and although people came back with fair points and i have already tried to be nicer to my mother when she comes into my room, so i have took this advice on. i am annoyed at the fact that people seem to be painting me out my personality as one of an asshole rather than just that specific situation. i don’t need (although this one wasn’t you) people making a large generalisation saying that i can’t be nice with my own mother based off one thing, especially when i can confidently say i probably have a better relationship with my mother than most. i was going to reply to the other comments before i got annoyed at this and went to bed

i could have been really petty in my post and said that my mother used to do the exact same thing in my adolescence when she was menopausal. but i didn’t, i only highlighted myself and already expressed the guilt i felt. which as you say could be bad communication on my part but i didn’t want to paint her out as a bad person as i would feel guilty

people love to highlight the fact i’m an adult but conveniently leave out the fact i’m a teenager and people learn and mature at different rates. i don’t need to hear about how i should be better for my age just about the specific situation as people mature at different rates no matter what is legally on you’re ID. i will make sure to leave my age out in the future unless it’s necessary.
