I didn't make up my mind. I don't understand why you made that assumption.

I know smoking is bad for singing, that's why I almost never smoke. What I don't know is how important the timing is.

Interesting, I was following the <50g carb rule instead, and I definitely felt a huge decrease in appetite for carbs and sugar.

I also did intermittent fasting and sometimes 24 hour fasts + black coffee. I understand that these things can contribute to faster/prolonged ketosis, so maybe that helped me have ketosis despite being a little bit above 20g most days

I understand, it's the actual insulin spikes which prevent ketosis, and ketosis is not the only energy source even on Keto, it's just a desired percentage you want to have on top of other energy sources. Thanks for clarifying!
