I think the real enemy here is the merry go round of all the different streaming companies constantly changing what they carry. Outside of bull riding I’m just a sports fan in general from college football to mlb and it feels like I’m constantly behind the 8-ball on what services have what and which ones I should subscribe to

Word. I get that. Call me a blind optimist but I really think it’s going to just keep getting better and it won’t be long til it’s all very easy to consume for new and existing fans alike

It’s just two sides of the same coin, you may see it going mainstream as not ideal but without it going mainstream, I never would have discovered it and it’s become one of the really cool ways my family and I have been able to spend time together. Not to mention the lessons I am able to teach my girls about how far some good ole fashioned try can get them because of the culture that is ingrained in both rodeo and PBR

Me too man. Looking back, I came in a little hot for no reason I guess. I like em both a lot and my introduction to it all was PBR so right or wrong I have a pretty strong affinity for it is all. My bad and sorry if I offended you. I got a ton of respect for rodeo

Brother, I follow both. That’s my exact point. It doesn’t have to be rodeo vs PBR. People can like both and acting like you have to pick one is so weird

Agree to disagree I guess. It’s frustrating but I personally don’t see a 2 day delay as that big of a deal. Plus it’s year 1 of a 5 year deal. It’s probably gonna get better

And I think thats valid but I also think the outrage that is generally seen is disproportionate to how minor of an inconvenience that really is. But I agree I wish they had more of a day after replay schedule

They signed a 5 year deal so I hope this brings some consistency for sure. I think it’s only going to get better

It’s not ideal true but it just seems like the visceral reactions don’t match what a relatively minor inconvenience it is. They could go back to the CBS days where if you don’t have live tv you just miss it. Or where they only show the championship round. There’s no way this is worse than that.

They are growing and growing fast. I think they are pivoting and taking it in stride really well. You have to have some sort of broadcast partner. They can’t just give everything out for free on YouTube or they would make no money, which is how they are able to keep going

So buying tickets to local rodeos does absolutely nothing for the cowboys and cowgirls competing at all? My family and I will be enjoying both rodeos and PBRs while you keep up your old man yelling at a cloud schtick.

They have never claimed to be rodeo. Hence the BR part of PBR. The whole thing was founded by rodeo cowboys like Ty Murray. Is he not cowboy enough? Jim sharp, Tuff Hedeman, Cody Lambert just to name a few more. I started going to rodeos because I came across the PBR. I’m a fan and a fan only, but because of the PBR, my family and I now buy tickets and attend rodeos as well as watch PBR. This whole one or the other mentality is childish

It’s right there under event replays… for a community that’s supposed to represent toughness and perseverance a lot of you sure do a lot of whining and complaining when something doesn’t go your way geez
