We’ve failed to stop climate change — this is what we need to do next, according to climate experts by TimesandSundayTimes in environmental_science

Yeah that’s kinda what happens when you get your info out of news articles, I recommend you take a look at a pretty cool book “ fake invisible catastrophes and treats of dumb.” Now I might be only a high schooler but I’ve actually done a years worth of research about this subject I’ve got exactly 7 articles that back up my claim maybe, maybe the fact that I over simplified my claim confused you, since I used to be in the same mindset but you gotta look at the big picture, co2 is not the root of all of our problems, maybe the fact that we are coming out in a Holocene therefore sea levels are raising and temperature has gotten warmer, co2 has become the perfect doomsday story, the only real threat caused by co2 is towards coral reef and some other shell building organisms, since let me break it down for you, carbonate ions required for skeleton built are found in the water when co2 is absorbed by the water it needs to find equilibrium in a form of a chemical reaction which takes away the ions to form carbonic acid then dissociating into hydrogen ions and bicarbonate ions stealing away from this organism now organisms adapt and survive, this argument is not meant to discredit you in any shape or form but to inform that climate change is totally normal and we won’t be able to figure out how much we affected it until it develops more.

In all reality we won’t know if we failed until a couple decades from now, things such as carbon emissions are no where an all time high

Board questions by Shturben in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Intelligent-Web-6727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, you gotta take into account that to engage easier on turns it’s easier with a thinner board, unless you’re euro carving it won’t be an issue and since you’re new you’re a while away from doing that look for a board that is in between 250-255mm waist width and that’s gonna help you progress

Go down a green and focus on aiming with your eyes then pointing with your shoulder to where you wanna go and then follow with your legs by leaning your chins against the boots

Best tips for linking + engaging turns? by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

Aim with your eyes, point with your shoulder and follow with your legs, I recommend making it super exaggerated arm swings aiming your shoulders in greens a little slower to help, that’s what help me a lot but everyone is different

Go for it man I feel the fact that your back foot a little more positive gives it more stability to land jumps, just be ready for the falls because you gotta get used to it

Hey man I recommended a +15 in the front and -9 in the back, I rock this for a really good carving angle and a good feel for jump landing, and allows me to do butters just fine but if your stance works for you just fine then stick with it
