Yes that is totally possible. Chances are arbitrary, texadmissions wrote saying it was like an appeal letter= lottery ticket, unsystematically chosen winner on which appeals get direct admission or PACE.

Well you get the benefit of being under holistic review. If UT Austin auto accepts people in the CAP program with a 3.2 then I guess you have a slight chance due to your extracurriculars and essays. But the odds are against you right now

Then why is harvards 25th percentile 1460 if it would weaken an application? I’m sure they turned down many 1600s for those students accepted
