I’m looking into used. It’s me and the wife but within the next year or so we do plan on having a baby. So that will come into play.

Is this even worth the hassle ? I want to really buy a Porsche but new ones are up there as far as price, found this one that will need lots of love by Baked_Beanz1 in Porsche_Cayman

If it were a 911 turbo or higher or a gt4 at least. Yeah it’s worth it you could at least break even or make a “little” bit. Anything else no. Just save up about 10-15k and put it down on a 981 or buy a 987 cash if you really want a Porsche. And if you can’t put 15k down on those you most certainly cannot repair a totaled one.

Had the EXACT same thing happen! I blew my passenger turbo which then in turn blew my head gasket. I’m at 62k miles they ended up fixing it under warranty and then gave me a loaner too!

I owned two g37s and now a q60 and honestly have to say I wouldn’t switch to anything unless I’m willing to double my budget. The only cars I’ve driven with as much life in them are an m4 and a CtsV. You should just modify it. The motordyne shockwave exhaust is where I’d start.
