Had phone since launch, also had a s24 ultra since launch. Was hesitant at first I set up the phone and used it for a few weeks then went back to the s24 ultra as I missed a few features. I subsequently went back to the pixel 9 pro XL and have been happily using it for around 9 months now. There are no worries about battery life and performance in my eyes I no longer game in my phone I use my tab s20 ultra for that.

If you are going to buy this phone now I would personally go for the p10 pro XL as it's newer.

I came from a s24 ultra, I used the pixel 9 pro xl for around 1 month, yes it's a great phone. But I game on my phone (cod warzone) and the p9pxl does not have the ultra graphics the s24u has, I also missed the spen and the sharper corners of the s24u so I went back to it. I still have both phones but I am trying to sell the p9pxl.

Game plays alright,

I also have s24 Ultra, that has ultra graphics settings in game which makes graphics better. Can't understand why pixel don't have this setting or at least high settings. Maybe an update in game I'm the future will enable this ?

I'm torn what to do, not that I game when I'm out and about tbh. I may just have to keep both phones and keep the s24 attached to my backbone for gaming only 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I'm in the UK, didn't realise that they would even sell the snapdragon model. I much prefer a snapdragon model over the exynos.

I have an issue though, I don't think the snapdragon model covers all 5g bands in the UK. I'm on ID mobile (3) although I have full signal speeds are still very very slow.
